Various Visits

Terry sat with Tashie in the early morning hours while Tashie (and I) slept. Tashie is a bit annoyed that she can't get out of bed and get a change of scene. We remind her that her leg muscles aren't cooperating as they once did - so going out gallivanting is out of the question. She mostly takes it in stride.
Tashie with two her best pals: Dr. Joe & Micah
Hospice nurse Shawna came for a home visit, checking on Tashie, and bringing supplies. She and Tashie have an easy connection, and seem to understand each other without much being said. Tashie's O2 sats are up in the 80s - good progress. Spring Creek Angels came for short visits during the afternoon, and Karen brought home-made chicken soup and toast for all.
Tashie had a little broth, but wasn't interested in more than a taste. Dr. Joe came to see her in the late afternoon, and she was of course thrilled to see him. He was on call, so couldn't stay long, but they had a good visit. She was energized, just as she had  been when she spoke to him on the phone last night.
Tashie had a lively phone call with our Tibetan Angel Tsering Dolmah - laughing, loving, joking. At one point, Dolmah started singing "Good Night Ladies,"  and Tashie joined in with a strong and vibrant voice, big smile on her face.
There are so many gems in Tashie's life - our Spring Creek Angels among them - we are blessed by this good fortune.
Bruce arrived about the same time, followed by Philip, so Tashie was in her element. after Dr. Joe left, I walked into the kitchen to find Bob-O standing there! A complete  - and most welcome surprise!
